MyKiblat: A Scientific App for Accurate Qibla Direction and Prayer Times

MyKiblat is a scientific application developed by the Government of Malaysia for Android devices. It provides users with accurate information about the Qibla direction, prayer times, and the position of the sun along the Qibla line. With this app, users can easily determine the direction of the Qibla through three different methods: Augmented Reality, map display, or the shadow of the sun.

Using the coordinates of the user's device, MyKiblat calculates the azimuth of the Qibla direction, ensuring precise accuracy. It also provides prayer times based on the user's location, allowing them to plan their daily prayers accordingly. Additionally, the app offers information about the sun's position above the Qibla line, enabling users to track the sun's movement throughout the day.
